"Spiritual programs are not theological systems, but programs that we use to become a living testament to a healthy life." Cindy Kightlinger, MA, LPC, CADC
We all know change and growth is a difficult thing. Especially when we feel locked in dysfunction, habitual patterns, addictions, and vices.
Often times when we are trying to help ourselves we hit barrier after barrier. Our intention is good, it's just that our methods seems to fail us. And mainly because we are not providing structure to our healing process. We are not working a program. The same goes for our spiritual health.
Tried and true, that's where the 12-steps come in.
In Your Spiritual Program Cindy Kightlinger, LPC, CADC draws from her decades of addiction counseling to explain the 12-steps in a personal, yet engaging way.
Told through engaging and to the point videos, Cindy discusses not only how to get the most out of the 12-Steps, but how to develop and evaluate a personalized spiritual program for yourself.
Your Spiritual Program is really a challenge to everyone, not just those with addicitons, to
examine the different areas of your spirituality and see where you need to grow."

Cindy Kightlinger is the founder of Mercy House of Meadville, Inc. where she also serves as a therapist and drug and alcohol counselor. She founded Mercy House of Meadville, Inc. , in 2001 as a result of an idea that mental health and drug and alcohol could be done in a different way-serving people spiritually and physically, as well as emotionally. "Everything we do at Mercy House is done with that aim in mind. We think of ourselves as a family and the response that we most often hear is that , "it is so homey here, so comfortable." Even our mission statement of, "Restoring Hearts and Homes," reflects our core values. We put a lot of time, effort and resources into sourcing our community and region and with RecoverME Academy, hope to broaden that influence."
Rev. Kightlinger's credentials include certified addiction counselor, licensed professional counselor, certified gambling counselor, speaker and ordained minister. Her numerous speaking event include women retreats, pastor trainings, marital conferences and spiritual/inspirational guest speaking. She has had dozens of freelance articles published in various magazines, is an author, and designs program material that is aimed at the heart-- which is a change for life, which she says is, "the only change worth investing in."
